I am an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture at the City College of New York. My teaching and research build transdisciplinary, critical analyses at the intersections between design, engineering, and environmental humanities, interrogating conceptions of humans, nature, and technology in contemporary culture and investigating interspecies entanglements through landscape research. I study emerging cybernetic technologies and their ramifications on the constructed environment. My design and research expand designers’ understanding of the messy entanglement between machines and ecologies and inspire innovative landscape strategies.
